Salary: £27,741

Leave allowance: 28 Days plus bank Holidays

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Services Manager at Bury St Edmunds Women’s Aid Centre.

Bury St Edmunds Women’s Aid Centre is a small, independent charity that for the past 46 years has worked with Women and Children who have been affected by Domestic Abuse.

You will manage the service and staff in providing high-quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a service to those at high and medium risk. The job involves working closely with abused women and their children who are living in our refuge and in the community.

To initiate, develop, maintain and monitor multi-agency links through procedures and protocols to keep safety central to all services for victims of domestic abuse.

An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate will be required for this role.

Committee Members Wanted      

Have you a couple of hours to spare? – Committee members wanted.

Bury St. Edmunds Women’s Aid Centre (Refuge) is a charitable organisation with a small committed team of staff who support victims of domestic abuse.

The Committee is currently looking for new Trustees to contribute to the management of the organisation. We meet every couple of months, on a Monday evening, for approximately two hours to discuss the business and make management decisions on the running of the Refuge.
